Stage Features
- Proscenium arch stage with particle board sacrificial floor
- Note: stage depth will be restricted during theatre building works next door (until approx April 2021).
Temporary stage dimensions are: 8.25m wide x 2.87m deep, inclusive of 0.9m extension (23.68 sqm)
Final stage dimensions will be: 8.25m wide x 3.96m deep, inclusive of 0.9m extension (32.67 sqm) - Height of stage from hall floor: 0.82m
- Clearance height from stage to overhead lighting bar: 2.92m
- Lighting bars: 1 overhead and 2 side bars on stage; 2 overhead FOH bars and side bars SL & SR FOH
- Lighting: 4 quartz lights on FOH bar, 1 quartz on SL and SR side bars on stage – operated from switches SR
- BYO or hire in stage lighting
- Basic sound system (amp and speakers, mic and RCA jack input) stage right
- Stage Curtain manually operated from stage left
- Stage accessed via moveable steps at front of stage (3 steps 1.21m wide)
- Note: No green room is available during theatre construction next door in 2020, but adjacent Supper Room may be booked for this purpose.
Pricing
- For-profit activities $295 per day
eg sale of antiques; theatrical and other performances for which entrance is charged (eg Jazz Festival and Spectrum Theatre productions); functions involving large numbers of people (eg weddings and balls) - Not-for-profit / semi-profitable activities $100 per day
eg craft markets, art exhibitions and orchid shows); other displays for public interest - Rehearsals & meetings $65 all day / $45 for 4 hours
The Hall can also be hired together with the Supper Room as part of an All Rooms hire:
