NSRF Round Two Regional Funding

By 22 May 2015 No Comments

National Stronger Regions Fund is a new programme to promote economic development in Australia`s regions. The programme is a Federal Government initiative that provides dollar for dollar funding up to $10m on a partnership basis.

Round Two Regional Funding opened for submissions on 15 May 2015.

Twyford Hall Incorporated applied unsuccessfully under Round One for project funding to develop Theatre Twyford with the project costed at $5.954.

We  developed an application for the same amount and  formally approached Bega Valley Shire Council and the NSW Government to be funding partners.

However neither Council nor the NSW State Government were able to commit any funds to our Project. While this is disappointing to say the least we are now exploring funding possibilities from personal and philanthropic sources.

We lodged a submission which  closed on 31 July 2015 but due to a lack of partnership funding we  not be successful .
