Hall Reopens

By 21 November 2021 No Comments

Twyford Hall has reopened to the public following closures due to COVID and work on the adjacent theatre building.

Work has also been done on upgrading the stage power, stage lighting and sound system in the Hall – thanks to a $72000 grant from the NSW Office of Responsibile Gambling Infrastructure Grant – and tidying up the stage area after the rear section was rebuilt to make way for the new theatre loading dock.

Since November 2021 the Hall has been in use for election prepolling, art and craft exhibitions and workshops. In the meantime, the Board is working on obtaining finalisation finance to complete the adjacent new theatre, hoping it too can be completed and opened in 2022.
